VINCENT MYERS

2021 HALL OF FAME CLASS

Vincent Myers was inducted into Altavista High School Athletic Hall of Fame Inaugural Class on February 5th, 2022.

 

Myers graduated from Altavista in 1990. While at Altavista, he was a star athlete in basketball and football. In basketball, Myers is a 1,000 Point Club member ended his basketball career with 1,253 points. He is the 1990 Seminole District Player of the Year and cumulative multiple All-District, All-Region, and All-State selections. In football,  Myers was an All-District Selection at Wide Receiver and Defensive Back. He also was an All-Group AA Selection at End and Defensive Back.  Myers finished his football career with 33 receptions, 1015 yards and 11 touchdowns. Myers was selected to participate in the Virginia High School Coaches Association All-Star Game. He is a 2X RJ Edwards recipient, the RJ Edwards Award is giving to an outstanding  male and female student-athlete.
